A funny video has emerged from Aukland, New Zealand of singer Adele having a confrontation with a beetle on stage after it bit her mid-song.

In the clip, which was filmed on Thursday, Adele rolls around on stage directing some pretty colourful language at the insect.

"It was nibbling away at my ankle that whole song," the singer says.

She then points out the beetle to the audience, which she says is walking back towards her.

"My number one fan," Adele jokes.

"Can someone get me some bug spray? I'm going to drink it," she quips.
