NASA Conducts Engine Test at Stennis Space Center

NASA conducted a test of the RS-25 engine at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi on March 23.The engine’s controller, a computer that regulates thrusts and monitors fuel status, will eventually be installed on one of the four engines that will power the first flight of NASA’s upcoming heavy launch vehicle, the Space Launch System, or SLS.
