A leisurely Sunday afternoon fishing trip off the coast of Stanmore Bay, New Zealand, on March 19 took a frightening turn when a great white shark approached.Julie Bluck says she was at one of her favorite fishing spots when the shark neared, but she remained calm, telling Storyful it “turned into an amazing encounter with a fabulous animal.”
