Trump picks Kellyanne Conway's husband for justice post

President Trump selected the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway to head the Justice Department's civil division, the Wall Street Journal reported. If George Conway is confirmed by the Senate, he would be responsible for defending lawsuits against the administration. Conway, who is a corporate lawyer, was previously considered for the post of U.S. solicitor general, according to CNN. Conway was previously involved in high-profile law cases at the Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where he has been partner since 1994. In the 90s, Conway wrote the Supreme Court brief allowing Paula Jones to sue then-President Clinton in civil court for sexual harassment.
