Rescued sea lions released back into wild
  • 7 years ago
A video has emerged from California, USA of two sea lions being released back into the wild after three months in captivity.

In the clip, which was filmed earlier this week, staff from the Pacific Marine Mammal Centre open two crates on Laguna Beach and "Wham" and "Onix" emerge onto the beach and waddle into the sea. A drone then records their first moments of freedom in the open ocean.

The sea lions were washed ashore severely malnourished and would have died had they not been rescued by the Pacific Marine Mammal Centre.
