North Korea launches four missiles into Sea of Japan
  • 7 years ago
North Korea fired four ballistic missiles into the sea off Japan's northwest coast on Monday in response to U.S.-South Korea military drills. South Korea's military said that the missiles were not intercontinental ballistic missiles, which have the capability to reach the U.S. Several missiles landed only in waters only 190 miles away from Japan, according to the country's defense minister Tomomi Inada. The U.S. military tracked North Korea's missile testing, but noted it does not possess a threat to North America, according to Reuters.
