Your Meds Might Explain Why You Can't Lose Weight

As anyone who’s tried to drop a few pounds knows, losing weight takes hard work—there’s no easy, quick fix. But there is something you can do to make sure you’re not inadvertently tanking your efforts: Switch your meds. According to 'Men's Health Magazine,' a new study published in 'Gastroenterology' suggests some drugs can actually promote weight gain. These include anti-inflammation meds, the diabetes injection insulin, hypertension drug metoprolol, first-generation antihistamines, and antidepressant Paxil.
