Trump defends Putin: US isn't 'so innocent'

President Trump defended Vladimir Putin in an interview set to air on Sunday before the Super Bowl, denying allegations that Putin is a "killer." When pushed on the subject during an interview with Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly, Trump responded, "What do you think? Our country’s so innocent?" In the interview, Trump said he respected Putin but could not yet say whether or not he would get along with the leader. "I respect a lot of people, but that doesn't mean I'm going to get along with him. He's a leader of his country. I say it's better to get along with Russia than not," he said during the interview.
