President Trump on Thursday said that Ivanka Trump’s emails were “very innocent” and nothing like Hillary Clinton's.

President Trump on Thursday said that his daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump's emails were "very innocent" and nothing like Hillary Clinton's. He said in response to a reporter's question about them: "Very innocent. A short period of time. Very early on. There was no deletion of emails like the 33K plus probably another 100K that Hillary did after she got a subpoena."  Trump continued: "There was no BleachBit. There was no anything. Just innocent emails. There were no classified emails…Another fake news story."
The Washington Post reported on Monday that Ivanka Trump used personal email to conduct government business throughout the bulk of 2017.  The publication also noted that some "aides were startled by the volume of Ivanka Trump's personal emails — and taken aback by her response when questioned about the practice. She said she was not familiar with some details of the rules, according to people with knowledge of her reaction."
