Avalanche leaves at least 13 dead in Pakistan

At least 13 people are dead after an avalanche buried five homes in Pakistan's north town of Chitral Sunday. A Pakistani security official told the Associated Press 13 bodies were already retrieved from the snowfall as rescue efforts are underway. Most of Chitral is covered in snow as several people are still missing. Avalanches are common in the north part of the country, where many glaciers are also located.
