Amazon is planning on creating at least 100,000 full-time jobs in America

On Thursday, Amazon announced that they plan on creating more than 100,000 full-time jobs in America. All of these jobs will come with full benefits. The process of creating these jobs will occur over the next 18 months, with the goal being over 280,000 employees by the middle of 2018. Innovation is one of our guiding principles at Amazon, and it’s created hundreds of thousands of American jobs. These jobs are not just in our Seattle headquarters or in Silicon Valley—they’re in our customer service network, fulfillment centers and other facilities in local communities throughout the country
