Fitbit acquires European smartwatch startup Vector

Fibit has just acquired the smartwatch startup Vector, afterspending around $40 million on Pebble just before the start of 2017. a statement read on the Fitbit's company website. While Fitbit has not confirmed that it will be building a smartwatch, the company did confirm that it wants to build a wearable app store in 2017. All warranty and hardware related issues will still be dealt through Vector and the firm's support team.
