Snapchat to open international headquarters in London

Snap, the company behind Snapchat, is planning to open it's new headquarters in London. The move to the UK is unusual for U.S. tech firms, which tend to establish international HQ offices in Europe due to tax breaks. While the messaging app already has an office in London, starting Tuesday, the office will operate as the firm's international headquarters. Over the last year, the company expanded it's London team from six people to 75. The app already has 150 million daily active users worldwide, with 50 million based in Europe.
