What you need to know about the 74th Golden Globe Awards The 74th Golden Globes ceremony will be hosted at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday January 8th at 8 p.m. ET. Late Night host Jimmy Fallon will host the Golden Globes for the first time, taking over for Ricky Gervais who has led the show four times. This year's Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award honoree will be Meryl Streep. The legendary actress has received a record 30 Golden Globe nominations over the course of her career. Presenters include Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Steve Carell, Priyanka Chopra, Matt Damon, Eddie Redmayne, Zoe Saldana and Reese Witherspoon. Ryan Reynolds
