Vishal Bhardwaj: 'Imran Khan is a better choice for Matru than Ajay Devgn'

Acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, whose upcoming film Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola will be releasing soon, seems to be quite impressed with his lead actor Imran Khan and cannot stop gushing about him.
At a recent media interaction session, when he was asked about whether it is true that Ajay Devgn was the original choice to play the character Matru, Vishal said, "As far as I am concerned, Imran is the perfect fit to play the role of Matru. For me, Imran would do more justice to the character than even Ajay Devgn. It is like God Himself put Imran in front of me for the role."
Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola also stars Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur and is slated to release on January 11.
