Nawazuddin Siddiqui To Replace Farhan Akhtar In 'Raees'?

It had been reported a few days ago that Farhan Akhtar, who was supposed to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Excel Entertainment's Raees, has now opted out of the film because of date issues and now, we hear that Nawazuddin Siddiqui is being considered for the role. Buzz has it that the Gangs Of Wasseypur star is in advanced talks with the production house and sources claim that as it is a performance-oriented role, the makers feel that Nawaz will be perfect for it. Farhan walked out of the film because the dates of Raees were clashing with those that he had allotted to Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming film. While SRK will play a bootlegger in the movie, Nawaz has been offered the role of a cop. Raees is set in Gujarat and is expected to go on floors post monsoon, this year.
