Nawazuddin Siddiqui Replaces Farhan Akhtar In 'Raees'

It had been reported sometime back that Farhan Akhtar will play a cop in Rahul Dholakia's Raees, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, who plays a Gujarati mafia head.
However, it now seems that Farhan, who will also be next seen in Rock On 2, has been replaced with Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the former's Rock On 2 dates were clashing with the Raees schedule. Though in an interview in July, Nawazuddin had dismissed reports about replacing Farhan, producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the news and added that the film will go on floors in February and would be wrapped up by June.
Nawaz will also be seen next in Kabir Khan's Bajrangi
