Ayushmann Khurrana: 'Hawaizaada may change our history lessons'

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana will essay the role of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, who is said to have invented a flying machine even before the Wright brothers, and he says that the film may change our history lessons.
At a recent event, when the actor was asked if he knew about Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, before he was offered the film, Khurrana said, ''Before hearing the script I had no idea that an Indian had flown the first aircraft. A lot of debates are happening over it now and it may also change our history lessons and Shivkar Tapade may get acknowledgement after 150 years, through this film.''
Directed by Vibhu Puri, Hawaizaada is slated to release on January 30.
