In a tweet posted on Saturday, Donald Trump criticized CNN over reports concerning his role in the upcoming NBC's 'Celebrity Apprentice.'

In response to reports that he will retain an executive producer credit on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday, "Reports by CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my Presidency, even part time, are ridiculous & untrue - FAKE NEWS!"
He continued, "I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!"
On Thursday, Variety reported that "Donald Trump will remain an executive producer on NBC’s 'Celebrity Apprentice,' which is returning Jan. 2 after a two-year hiatus with new host Arnold Schwarzenegger."
The media outlet also noted Trump's fee for each episode is expected to be at least in the low five-figures.
During a CNN appearance on Friday, Kellyanne Conway defended Trump's reported role in the show, "Were we so concerned about the hours and hours and hours spent on the golf course of the current president? I mean presidents have a right to do things in their spare time, in their leisure time..."
