Clashes erupted in Athens after a protest march on December 6, commemorating the police killing of 15-year-old Alexandros Grigoropoulos eight years ago that sparked weeks of rioting in the Greek capital.After hundreds marched peacefully, street battles broke out in Athens’ central Exarcheia district as protesters reportedly hurled petrol bombs and rocks at riot police, who responded with tear gas.
