Suspect killed in Ohio State University attack

The Ohio State University student who carried out a knife attack on campus on Monday, injuring 11 people, was shot and killed. The assailant Abdul Razak Ali Artan intentionally rammed his car into pedestrians on campus and then began stabbing civilians with a butcher knife. A university police officer fatally shot Artan approximately one minute into the attack, according to authorities. The FBI are currently investigating whether the incident was terror related. Artan's Facebook post said he "sick and tired" of seeing fellow Muslims "killed and tortured," according to the FBI. Artan was a legal permanent resident originally from Somalia, who came to the U.S. with his family in 2014 via Pakistan.
