Trump visits Ohio State victims, officer who killed attacker

President-elect Donald Trump met Thursday with victims and first responders from last week’s attack at Ohio State University, before making another stop on his “thank you” tour in Iowa. Trump spent about 30 minutes in Columbus with some of the people who were attacked on Nov. 28 by Ohio State student Abdul Razak Ali Artan. Artan, 18 years old, may have been inspired by the Islamic State terror group or a radical U.S.-born Muslim cleric, according to law-enforcement officials. “The families have done so well to come through this so well. And so, a lot of respect,” Trump said as he left the Schottenstein Center. “This is a great honor for me today. We’re in a fantastic state that I love, Ohio.”
