Cyber Monday online sales expected to reach record levels

Early projections are in for Cyber Monday sales and Adobe predicts a record online shopping day. Adobe's projections have shoppers spending a record $3.36 billion in online purchases, up 9.4 percent from last year’s holiday. Roughly $540 has already been spent between midnight and 10 a.m. EST on Monday. Online holiday shopping has accounted for $36.5 billion in online revenue, a 7.1 percent increase annually in sales. Some popular items as of Monday morning have been the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox and Apple iPads.
