Ranveer Singh apologises for featuring in sexist Ad

After being criticised for featuring in an ad by Danish menswear brand, actor Ranveer Singh has issued an apology. The ad had Ranveer Singh slinging a woman across his shoulder and a punch line beside that image saying, "Don't hold back. Take your work home."
In a statement to a news channel, the Bajirao Mastani actor said, “I’m sorry this happened. We got it wrong on billboards. We have rectified the mistake and the ad was withdrawn immediately.”
While Ranveer being a youth icon has surely hurt people’s sentiments, we, however, appreciate him for coming forward and apologizing!
