Jack the Wombat Learns a New Trick

We have been watching Jack the wombat grow since he was rescued by wildlife carer Lindy Butcher in March.A big boy now, Jack cannot be picked up from the ground and carried by Lindy but has learnt how to jump onto a step ladder to help his foster mother out.
The New South Wales environmental department says wild wombats will stay in the pouch until 10 months of age and often grow to be 30kg or more as adults.
Lindy told Storyful Jack is becoming more and more independent.
