Chinese villagers find flammable gas in water well

Footage has emerged from China of villagers demonstrating how they found flammable gas inside one of their water wells.
The video, reportedly filmed in Leshan, Sichuan Province on October 16, shows white smoke rising out of the well, while villagers fill a bag with the gas and set it on fire.
According to local reports, a family with very little income asked a drilling firm to help them drill a well and they agreed, but when they got deep enough they noticed an unpleasant smell coming out of the water.
The team has since stopped digging and government officials are conducting tests to find out what the gas is.
