Footage has emerged from China of firefighters rescuing a boy stuck in quicksand.
In the video, captured in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province on Tuesday, firefighters can be seen trying to pull the boy out of the quicksand.
According to local news, the 17-year-old intended to commit suicide when he jumped in the river.
The five firefighters sent to the scene managed to get the boy ouut of danger.
