Footage Shows Police Surrounding Keith Lamont Scott Following Shooting

Footage recorded in the aftermath of the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott in Charlotte, North Carolina, on September 20, shows emergency services personnel surrounding Scott and one attempting CPR on him.
From around 0.15, the clip shows one of the officers leaning over Scott and throwing an item to the ground that another officer dressed in a pink shirt then picks up. It is not clear where the first officer got the item or what it is.Screen shots from a livestream by Lyric Scott, Scott’s daughter (since removed) show a police officer in a red shirt with a vest, matching the one seen in this footage.
The man is also seen in an image obtained by journalists that has been described as showing a gun on the ground in the aftermath of the shooting. The above video appears to have been shot before the photo shared with journalists, which show a police cordon that the footage does not. Later footage recorded by this uploader shows the same cordon.
