President Barack Obama said Tuesday that US has an "obligation" to help Laos recover from a brutal secret bombing campaign that destroyed parts of the Southeast Asian nation. The United States will provide $90 million to help Laos remove nearly 80 million unexploded American bombs left over from the Vietnam War. Laos is still considered the most heavily bombed country per capita in the world. According to the country's National Regulatory Authority, there have been over 50,000 victims since the mission ended — 20,000 have died.
