Footage of a large, poisonous jellyfish spotted off the coast of Cornwall, UK by a spear fisherman yesterday.

The video, filmed off Portreath Beach, shows the bizarre animal with two-metre-long tentacles which, according to the filmer, can administer a deadly sting.

A large number of the jellyfish were reportedly spotted close to the shore.

There are also fears a large shark could also be frequenting the Cornish coast after a dolphin with its head missing and several bite marks on its body washed up on Portreath Beach.
