At least six dead and 20,000 rescued from Louisiana flooding

More than 20,000 Louisiana residents have been rescued from their homes, in the wake of historic, devastating flash flooding that led President Barack Obama on Sunday to declare a federal emergency in the state. At least six people have died in the disaster. The sun has since reemerged, but the threat of showers remains.
