Americans Phil Dalhausser and Nicholas Lucena compete opposite Brazil's Bruno Schmidt and Alison Cerutti in a loser-goes-home matchup. Americans Clayton Murphy and Boris Berian go up against semifinal winner Pierre-Ambroise Bosse (France) in the men's 800-meter final. Allyson Felix goes for her first Olympic 400-meter gold medal in the Rio finals. Russia's Evgeny Tishchenko will go toe-to-toe with Kazakhstan's Vassiliy Levit for the gold medal.
