ROGUE RIVER, OREGON — A small town Oregon police department’s Facebook page has been flooded with messages from marijuana enthusiasts after police shared photos of a huge stash of weed found inside a port-a-potty.

Rogue River Police Chief Ken Lewis said a man came across the stash while walking his dog through Anna Classick Bicentennial Park on Wednesday morning, reports Portland CBS affiliate KOIN.

Lewis told KOIN police don’t know how the pot got there. He said the toilet had been inspected three hours before the discovery and people playing tennis nearby hadn’t noticed any suspicious activity, either.

Upon closer examination, however, it looks like someone may have just wanted to get rid of their unwanted plants. Commenters on Facebook noted that the weed looked either like its buds had been removed, or that the stash was just a bunch of male plants.

The marijuana was loaded onto a pickup truck and taken to be held as evidence. Rogue River police later shared a post of the plants getting destroyed on the same day.
