GREAT FALLS, VIRGINIA — At a recent cars and coffee event in Virginia, the unthinkable happened: A classic Mercedes-Benz had backed into a Ferrari supercar.
The Mercedes 380 SL was caught on camera just after it backed into a Ferrari 458 Speciale valued at nearly $300,000.
The Ferrari was parked outside a coffee shop in Great Falls, Virginia, where Katie’s Classic Cars and Coffee event was held. Witnesses said the Mercedes was trying to parallel park in front of the supercar.
Video of the accident, which has since gone viral, showed the Mercedes’ rear passenger-side wheel sitting on top of the front driver-side portion of the Ferrari.
The owner, who stood at the scene in disbelief, uttered, “Are you serious?”
