Trump says officers won't get shot once he's president

Donald Trump said at a rally on Wednesday that once he becomes president, police officers will no longer be shot on the job.
"We're not going to shoot our police.
We're not shooting our police," he said.
"It's never been so dangerous to be a policeman or woman.
It's never been so dangerous."
Trump referenced the ambush-style shootings that killed five officers in Dallas last month and three in Louisiana, and promised an end to the violence, the Washington Post reported.
"We're going to be law and order.
It's going to stop."
he said.
