The Democratic National Convention kicks off in Philadelphia on Monday with much bigger protests than the Republican Convention With a heat wave, that will possibly reach 100 degrees according to the National Weather Service, a pro-Bernie Sanders group is still expected to walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge, which connects Camden, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Officials said that so far, the large demonstrations mostly driven by Sanders backers have been peaceful and that volunteers will be handing out water to protesters all week
