Jeb Bush has been quite silent since stepping out of the GOP race, but he recently weighed in on how he believes a Donald Trump presidency will impact the nation.

In speaking with Nicolle Wallace of MSNBC, Bush said of the candidate’s many promises, “…there isn't going to be a wall built. And Mexico's not going to pay for it. And there's not going to be a ban on Muslims. None of that. This was all, like, a alternative universe that he created. The reality is…people are going to be deeply frustrated and the divides will grow in our country.”

He continued, “…I think people are going to really feel betrayed."

The Bush family is among the high-profile Republicans who have declined to endorse Trump’s bid for the Oval Office, notes the Los Angeles Times.
