Firefighter helps child to cross flooded street

A heartwarming video has emerged, from China, of a firefighter rescuing a child from a flooded house.
The footage, filmed in Xiaogan, Hubei Province last Friday, shows the firefighter climbing up to the first floor to pick up the toddler.
He then takes the child to the other side of the street using a rope tied between buildings.
According to reports continuous rainfalls hit parts of central and southern China causing major floods.
Firefighters had to use this rope to rescue six people trapped in their homes.
