Parts of New Zealand suffered heavy rainfall and flooding on Wednesday, June 29, with reports of more than 25 millimetres of rain falling in one hour, the wettest June hour in the country’s history. Auckland suffered the worst of the flooding, with some waters reaching one metre in height. This video shows flooding in Pukekohe. Radio NZ reported cars were trapped in Subway Rd, Pukekohe.
