Heavy rain poured down on Houston for several hours on April 18, triggering deadly floods that submerged roads and left residents trapped in their homes. It was reported that several people died. At least 1,200 water rescues were carried out by Monday afternoon, local responders said.This drone footage shows flooding in Bridgeland, a community in the northwest Houston suburb of Cypress, and which is surrounded by Cypress Lake, Lake Bridgeland, and connected waterways.
