Salman Is No Longer The Goodwill Ambassador for Olympics Says IOA Chief
Salman Khan for all purposes has been taken off the list of Ambassadors for the Rio Olympics. The Indian Olympic Association Chief has demanded an apology from the filmstar for his rash and insensitive comment about a raped woman. When asked in a recent interview how he felt after the shoot in the Sultan sets, Salman Khan candidly said that he felt tired and couldn’t walk straight similar to a raped woman.
This comment has really put the star in a spot as it has been dissected from all quarters and not everyone is ready to accept that he may not have meant it to be insensitive. There are many defence statements from Salman’s family but right now, the IOA chief wants Salman to apologise or else he would not include him as an Ambassador along with A R Rahman and Sachin Tendulkar.
Now Salman who is in Spain for the IIFA awards has to take a call. What do you say Bhai?
