HALWA POORI

INGREDIENTS:-

FOR POORI:
all purpose flour 2 cups
salt 2 teaspoon
oil 11/2 tablespoon
water almost 1 cup
oil for deep frying

FOR CHANAY

onion one medium size
oil 3 to 4 tablespoon
ginger chopped 1 1/2 tablespoon
garlic chopped 1 1/2 tablespoon
star anise 1
black cardamom 1
mace 1
nutmeg a pinch
Bay leaf 1
green chilli chopped 1 tablespoon
nigella seeds 1 teaspoon
red chilli powder 1 teaspoon or acording to taste
turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
salt 1 teaspoon or acording to taste
cumin 1 1/2 teaspoon
water 1/2 cup
boiled chickpeas 2 cups
water 1 cup

FOR HALWA
oil 3/4 cup
semolina 1/2 cup
cardamom powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
peeled almond 2 tablespoon
raisins 2 tablespoon
water 1 cup
yellow food colour one teaspoon
and if yellow colour is in powder form ...mix just a pinch of it in a teaspoon water and then add to halwa
milk 1/4 cup
sugar 1 cup

FOR FRESH ONION PICKLE:

ONION 1
achar masala 1 1/2 tablespoon

directions :
follow the video recipe
make poories as thin as possible and deep fry them on high heat
and try to avoid overcooking it makes them crispy .
