Shocking footage has emerged floods in southern China, caused by what's been described in local media as the strongest rainstorm for 200 years.

In the video, filmed in Maoming, Guangdong Province last Saturday, floodwater can be seen gushing through the city, carrying away cars and destroying shops and houses
