Nicola Thorp was working as a temp in London when she says she was sent home without pay from a receptionist job at PriceWaterhouseCoopers for not wearing high heels.

Should a woman be required to wear high-heeled shoes for a job? 
This is the debate that has ensued since twenty-seven-year-old Nicola Thorp from London, U.K., was asked to leave the office for not adhering to “appearance guidelines,” reports the BBC News.
According to The Telegraph, last December, she had been sent to work as a receptionist at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, by Portico, her temp agency.
