X Factor India - X Factor India Season-1 Episode 2 - Full Episode - 30th May 2011

The episode showcases auditions from Lucknow. Here the enchanting X-Factor becomes the platform for both talented & some not so talented Singers & Performers. Piyush Kapoor, Taj Group, Rekha Tiwari, Chinmay Tripathi & Kailash Joshi, Fakira Group, Sutapa Sarkar, and Amit Jhadav put on display their fine & their Singing Skills. First Contestant Piyush Kapoor from Lucknow, who is a Student, performs "Roop Tera Mastana" originally Sung by Kishore Kumar, in his savvy style. Audience is seen enjoying and dancing to the beats. Piyush's Charismatic Performance impresses all the Judges who give him a go ahead to the next level. This episode proves that dreams have no age bar. X-Factor recognizes the ability irrespective of the age of the performer. Kartar Singh Yadav and Shobhi Mathur, 63 and 59 years old respectively, performs "Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar" originally sung by Mohd.Rafi & Asha Bhonsle. The duo with their conventional style of singing makes a positive impression on the Judges. This duo is also selected for the next round of X Factor. The third performer Rekha Tiwari, a "Jagran" singer performs one of her spiritual songs. The Rhythm & Tempo of the song goes haywire and hence, she is not selected for the next level. Kailash Joshi & Chinmay Tripathi, Music Students, perform "Aya Tere Dur Par Deewana", Sonu Nigam & Shreya Ghoshal give encouraging reviews but Sanjay Leela Bhansali suggests that the Duo lacks the X Factor. Even under the scorching heat of Lucknow, the contestants are seen waiting anxiously. Fakira Group performs their folk song "Kesariya Balam" splendidly which gets standing applause from all the Judges. Whereas performers like Sutapa Sarkar & Niharika drive the Judges fanatical with their version of "Shiela Ki Jawani" song. Sunidhi Chauhan, the famed original singer of the song "Shiela Ki Jawani" surprises everyone with her presence. Not only she performs "Shiela Ki Jawani" & shows how it really should be done. She also gives a performance on her new single "Heartbeat" featuring the International Pop Sensation Enrique Iglesias. Sanjay Leela Bhansali requests all the three renowned singers Sonu Nigam, Shreya Goshal & Sunidhi Chauhan to perform jointly on the stage. All of them perform astoundingly well. The last performer Amit Jhadav knocks out both judges & audiences with his stunning performance which also has dazzling dance moves leaves the judges astonished & amazed.
