Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano’s dramatic overnight eruptions covered the nearby town of Puebla in ash and shut down its airport on Monday, April 18. The volcano hurled hot rocks up to a mile from its crater and emitted an almost two mile high column of steam and ash. This video shows the ash cloud settling over Puebla.
