Emergency Services Search for Victims in Rubble Near Quake Epicentre

Red Cross and emergency services rushed to Pedernales, near the epicentre of a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Ecuador. Pedernales was littered with rubble from numerous collapsed buildings as soldiers, volunteers and emergency workers began a search and rescue operation for victims of the quake. At least 272 people have been killed and hundreds injured, with hundreds still missing.
