Batsh*t Russian wife stabs husband to death and feeds remains to pet dog

SANT LLORENC, SPAIN — Russian national Svetlana Batukova, 46, stands accused of killing her German husband and feeding parts of him to their American Staffordshire bull terrier.
Batukova, who lived with her 66-year-old hubby in a village near Mallorca, Spain, was reportedly an alcoholic and cocaine addict.
Horst Hans Henkels and Svetlana Batakova married earlier this year, but the union did not appear to be a happy one, with reports saying Spanish police had visited their home several times over the last few months due to domestic disputes.
The Daily Star reported Batakova offered a man the equivalent of US$57,000 to kill Henkels, but when that plan didn't work out she took matters into her own hands.
The apparently mentally-disturbed substance abuser wife then allegedly drugged Henkels before repeatedly stabbing him to death. Batukova waited some 10 hours before calling the authorities who then discovered she had ripped flesh from Henkels' arms and fed them to their dog.
Batukova has been confined in a psych ward at a local Spanish hospital since last Friday's grisly crime. She was due in court on April 4 for the first of what's sure to be many court appearances. There's been no word on the fate of the dog.
