Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a driver plowing into a restaurant and bringing down part of the building.

In the video, filmed in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province last Monday, a car suddenly rushes into a restaurant and customers eating their meals are lucky to get out of the way.

According to local reports, part of the restaurant building collapsed and more than ten tables were destroyed. One customer suffered injuries.

The police are now investigating the incident.
