The powerful tropical storm tore through islands at the weekend wrecking property and killing at least 29 people, according to reports.
This video was taken at about 1830 on Saturday, when the storm hit, and shows trees swaying in the wind and heavy rain.
A 30-day state of emergency has been declared and there are fears of disease spreading among the 8,000 people currently sheltering in evacuation centres.
